Real Madrid continue to be linked with a move for Manchester United star De Gea despite missing out on him two years ago.
A fee between the two clubs was agreed for the Spain international but, after a faulty fax machine prevented the paperwork from going through on time, De Gea ended up staying put.
Real appear to have cooled their interest in recent weeks with Athletic Bilbao shotstopper Kepa Arrizabalaga on their radar.
But Spanish outlet Don Balon say Los Blancos DO still want De Gea - much to the annoyance of some of their players.
It is said Real Madrid believe De Gea and Kepa can both be happy playing alongside each other.
